The rich deep red hue of these oval rose cut sapphires is well complimented by the whimsical scroll patterned background. I've given the silver a dark patina to bring out the texture and allow the stone to take center stage. The metal is lighter gauge, making them light and easy to wear. Creation of these earrings involved the metalsmithing skills of sawing, soldering, filing, piercing, forming, forging, and stone setting those little sapphires. You'll wear them with jeans during the day and dress them up with a little black dress for cocktails.
