This striking high-contrast Montana Agate was carefully cut from a stone collected along the Yellowstone River in Eastern Montana during the 1950s. The band is crafted from sterling silver reclaimed from an early 20th-century sugar bowl, with the original hallmark preserved as found on the vessel’s base. Featuring hand-sawn leaf motifs, the silver band is layered, textured for visual depth, and finished with a patina that enhances its intricate detailing, resulting in a refined and elegant piece. Size fits 8.5-9 US
Lynde Howe Silverworks takes pride in crafting timeless, high-quality wearable art that can be passed down for generations. Each piece is carefully "wear tested" to ensure both comfort and exceptional design. Traditional metalsmithing techniques, including forging, forming, and soldering, are used to create each handmade creation. From start to finish, I put my heart and soul into every item, often using recycled materials to add an extra touch of sustainability. While each piece is unique, I occasionally offer small collections of similar designs. My signature mark is a symbol of my passion and dedication to handcrafting each piece. Please note that handmade items may have slight variations or imperfections, but that only adds character and charm to the finished product. With time, sterling silver may develop a natural patina, which I believe only adds to the beauty and texture of the piece. To maintain its shine, a gentle polish with a cloth is recommended. As a special touch, I include a polishing pad with every order.
